A close victory to Ottobiano for Diego Monticelli in the premier class S1, Diego has
the reigning Italian champion Elia Sammartin on his TM was closely followed throughout the race
official.
During the penultimate lap Diego launched an attack on Elia passing to first position,
unfortunately in the next corner in an attempt to maintain the position conquered,
Monticelli made a violent braking with the front wheel on the white stripe
slightly losing control of the front wheel which caused it to roll back again
in second position, he tried to overtake again at the entrance to the dirt road without succeeding
crossing the finish line in second position.
Gioele Filippetti after an excellent first heat conducted throughout the race in second position, during the last lap he gave up second place to team mate Diego Monticelli who made a hard but correct overtaking. In the second heat due to a probably defective front tire, he was unable to express himself at his best by lapping in times that were not his own, this fact did not allow him to be able to conquer the third step of the podium that was within his reach.
In the hard-fought S4 on-road category, Alessandro Sanchioni highlighted one
good speed, the feeling with the bike is still missing and the team is working to search for the
best way to please Alessandro to allow him to express himself at his best
chance of him and be in the top positions constantly.
A battered Fabio Mazzolai due to a very strong allergy, managed to contain the gap in the
S2 with two excellent placings, we are waiting for him in the positions he deserves.
A splendid Matteo Frassino led two heats in S3 under 24 with extreme
tenacity and intelligence, the boy is growing a lot and above all he is maturing. After
disappointing timed trials, he did not lose heart and in both heats, thanks
with two excellent starts, he won two excellent second places. With these placings Matteo conquers the red table of provisional leader of the Italian under 24 championship.
