THIRD AND FOURTH ROUND ITALIAN SUPERMOTO AND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES OF ITALY. TRIUMPH FOR THE TEAM DRIVERS
Two race of the Italian Supermoto championship took place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th in Viterbo.
For the official team riders Marco Malone and Teo Monticelli they meant a huge step forward both in terms of general classification and performance, for the occasion we also assisted Fabio Mazzolai who participates with a family-run team with Honda CRF 450, competitor in the category Under 24 where he conquered the red table of leaders in the general classification.
Our riders in the double engagement have always won the podium on both days.
On Saturday Marco Malone Italian On-road Championship, after a third place in the first heat and a first place in the second heat, he conquered the second place on the podium, while on Sunday with a second and a first place, the highest step of the podium .
Now in the classific general of the Italian championship despite the adversity of the first races, he is in second place with 1355 points, 95 points from the leader Kevin Vandi and with two more tests to be performed where there will be 1000 points at stake.
Teo Monticelli S1GP Italian Championship, after the first two races in search of the best performance, demonstrated the value that distinguishes him, together with his trusty track technician after a huge set-up work without ever giving up, he conquered on Saturday the third absolute position and on Sunday the second position behind only the reigning champion Elia Sammartin. Teo resumed activity in 2020 after two years of forced stop due to a serious injury, seeing him so early in the positions that matter in a short time confirms that the choice made by the team was correct.
In the championship standings he is in fourth place, just a few points from third Bartolini.
Fabio Mazzolai Italian Under 24 Championship, after a work carried out by the expert hands of our technicians on the engine of his bike, won the race on Saturday and on Sunday he confirmed his state of grace with an honorable second place. Now he is first in the red table classification that he will have to defend with his teeth in the double test on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October on the Pomposa track.
